๐ง Our used take out crankshafts are visually inspected when removed from the engine. We check the casting number, bearing sizes and to see if any bearing has โspunโ on the crank.
๐ง Our โremanโ crankshafts are sent to a professional machine shop where they are:
๐๐ผ Magnafluxed, checked for straightness and polished or turned as needed. If turned, they do not turn into the radius of the crank which is a common reason for a turn crank to crack or break.
๐จ We do not weld or build up crankshafts and do not sell new aftermarket.
RE53422.E Crankshaft w/o the crank driven oil pump gear.
This crank can have 4 or 6 flywheel bolts and multiple cast #'s.
You can use the late RE53422.L with the oil pump gear in place of the early in most 404 and all 466 engines. The gear just isn't used.
